If you’ve ever been coached before you already know the power of coaching questions and how useful they can be for moving you forward. But coaching questions are also useful outside of a coaching relationship. And in this case, these coaching questions can easily be used as personal reflection prompts.
As a work and life coach, I’ve seen the impact coaching has in my life and in the lives of my clients. And I’m not in any way trying to work myself out of a job. However, I would love for you to experience the kind of transformation I know is possible.
Here are 25 coaching questions to ask yourself when you’re feeling stuck. These prompts will help you move from where you are to where you are meant to be.
I’ve grouped the questions following my THRIVE Road Map® Coaching Model so that you can choose the questions that are right for you, no matter where you are on the THRIVE continuum.
The THRIVE Road Map® Coaching Model has 6 stages, one for each letter in the word THRIVE. You can see them below at a glance.
By the way, don’t let the simplicity of these questions fool you. Simplicity is part of their power. I suggest you plan for some quiet time away from distractions where you can quiet your mind and think deeply. (Read to the end for an idea of how to stay focused while searching for answers).
Feel free to pray before starting so that God’s still small voice can speak to you and give you the clarity you’re seeking.
Are you ready? Let’s get started.

Next Steps
To take this a step further, I invite you to join me over the next 5-days to dig just a little deeper. I’ve created a THRIVE Assessment where I take you through each of the steps in the coaching process. I’ll send you an email each day with some prompts to keep you motivated and on track.
The THRIVE Assessment is perfect for you if you want support and accountability along the way. If you’re like me, it’s easy to get excited about a new opportunity, only to have it fizzle after a day or two. Think of me as a cheerleader in your pocket, gently but firmly cheering you. Getting unstuck is a worthy goal and I’d love to help you move forward. Because you, my friend, you were made to thrive!
Join me and take the THRIVE Assessment here.
